Dr. Mitchell Schwaber, M.D.

Dr. Schwaber is on staff at Centennial Medical Center and St. Thomas Hospital. His practice is limited to otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery.

Dr. Schwaber is a native of Macon, Georgia. He received his medical education at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he graduated with high honors. He served a Surgical Internship and Residency years at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a Residency at the Baylor Affiliates hospitals. He also completed a Fellowship in otology and neurotology at the National Institutes of Health and The EAR Foundation.

Dr. Schwaber is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and has received subspecialty certification in Neurotology.

He has published more than 100 scientific papers and has active research interest in microsurgical reconstruction of the ear, progressive hearing loss, acoustic neuromas and Meniere’s disease. He is considered a national expert in vertigo.
