Francie Young is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Science Education in 1999. She was awarded her Master of Communication Disorders in Audiology from Auburn University in 2002.
Francie completed her Clinical Fellowship Year at the Tennessee Valley Veteran's Affairs hospital in Nashville, TN while working on a research grant involving the effects of ototoxic medications on the auditory system. She received her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Francie is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) and is projected to graduate in April of 2006. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and specializes in diagnostic audiology, vestibular testing and hearing aid evaluation and dispensing.
